Jon Wylie serves as Chief Operating Officer of Alexander Proudfoot’s Mining and Metals Practice. He joined Alexander Proudfoot in 1987 and has over 30 years of mining, minerals and metals experience.
Jon has worked across the globe from Canada to Australia and from Indonesia to Chile and has developed considerable expertise in the natural resources sector. Jon has been a member of the Senior Leadership Team for the past 8 years working within the Global Mining and Metals Practice to identify improvement potential and the implementation of solutions. His functional knowledge spans delivery of productivity improvement projects, while solutions typically are focused on behavior change and improved execution of operations. The outcomes are organizational and operational alignment, safety and productivity improvement, increases in throughput and yield, inventory and procurement costs reduction, improved cycle times, improved availability of primary equipment, compression of plant shut down cycle time/improvement and plant start up.

Robert Foster-Middleton serves as Managing Director, North America of Alexander Proudfoot’s Mining and Metals Practice. He joined Alexander Proudfoot in 1990 and has an extensive 35-year career in international management with experience in the USA, Canada, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South East Asia.
Robert has established a track record of building successful high performing national and international organizations in many culturally diverse markets around the world. He brings strong client relationships skills to identifying critical business issues and performance constraints and is able to develop innovative approaches to business performance improvement and the managing of the delivery of measurable results through client teams.

Edward Cory, Managing Director Europe and Asia

Edward Cory serves as Managing Director, Europe and Asia, of Alexander Proudfoot’s Mining and Metals Practice. In this role he works with Mining Clients who are headquartered in London, and those from around the world which are listed on the London Stock Exchange or otherwise strongly connected with the United Kingdom and Continental Europe.
Edward joined Alexander Proudfoot over 14 years ago and has a strong business background, built in 5 roles as Chief Executive including leading a London-listed plc, running Europe for a US multinational rated as “top 100 excellent Company”, project-based businesses in difficult environments, and first generation entrepreneurial businesses. The common themes are business transformation, growth, managing successfully through business cycles and building strength through people.

Cristopher Del Angel, Managing Director Latin America

Cristopher Del Angel serves as the Managing Director for Latin America Mining and Metals Practice covering the Spanish speaking market in the region. He began his career in 1988 with Alexander Proudfoot in Mexico and has achieved progressive responsibility within Operations. Cristopher has a strong background in the successful delivery of results to clients across a wide spectrum of industries focusing on Reengineering, Planning, Operations, Process Control, Asset management, Supply Chain, Training and Behavioral Change. The client-partners include some of the world’s top companies across an international footprint including North America, South America, Europe and Asia.
